13 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW dowel, part number 11 12 7 606 504. The number stamped on the part is 11127606504; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7606504. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Cylinder head with cover. It supersedes the older number 7501428, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E46 body style (316i, 316ti, 318i and 318ti, 2001–2004), with the N42 or N46 engines.
BMW draws it on 19 diagrams, among them Cylinder head (11_3177) and Cylinder head (11_3911). BMW's catalog calls for three of these at each place it is fitted.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
