About 3 Series Parts

Most used-parts sellers list whatever comes through the door. We don't. Everything here comes off an E36 (1990–2000) or an E46 (1998–2006), which means the catalog, the fitment data and the person answering your email are all looking at the same two cars. If you are rebuilding one of these, that narrowness is the point.

Cars are parted out here, by hand. A part is removed, cleaned, photographed and given a condition grade before it is listed, and the listing says which car it came off when we have that on record. Nothing is drop-shipped sight-unseen from a warehouse we've never visited.

Three grades, and they mean what they say:

• Good — minimal wear, fully functional.
• Fair — normal wear for its age, fully functional.
• Acceptable — visible wear, still fully functional.

A part often exists here in only one or two of those grades, and each grade is priced separately. You see exactly which grades are in stock before you buy.

Part names, part numbers, diagrams and fitment on this site come from the genuine BMW parts catalog, not from a hand-typed spreadsheet. That is why you can search a 7-digit BMW part number and land on the right page, open the factory exploded-view diagram, and see the list of vehicles a part was fitted to. Our stock is layered on top of that catalog, so an in-stock part shows up in the same place a BMW dealer would look for it.
