This is a genuine BMW SMG control unit programmed (exchange unit), part number 23 60 7 557 796. The number stamped on the part is 23607557796; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7557796. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH-SMG control unit programmed”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Manual gearbox parts. It supersedes the older number 7547476, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
