This is a genuine BMW BMW 6 CD changer ai (exchange unit), part number 65 12 9 112 757. The number stamped on the part is 65129112757; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9112757. BMW's catalog calls it “Exch. BMW 6 CD CHANGER AI”. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Radio, amplifier, CD player. It supersedes the older numbers 0413424 and 6960514, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9119706.

It fits the E46 coupe and convertible (323i, 325i, 328i, 330i and M3, 2000–2006), with the M52, M54, M56 or S54 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 5 diagrams, among them CD Changer (65_0457) and CD Changer (65_0807). It weighs about 1.9 kg (4.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
