This is a genuine BMW BMW 6 CD changer ai (exchange unit), part number 65 12 6 913 390. The number stamped on the part is 65126913390; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6913390. BMW's catalog calls it “Exch. BMW 6 CD CHANGER AI”. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Radio, amplifier, CD player. It supersedes the older number 0141220, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 8 diagrams, among them CD Changer (65_0457) and CD Changer (65_0703). It weighs about 2.0 kg (4.4 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
