04 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW body nut, part number 07 12 9 901 652. The number stamped on the part is 07129901652; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9901652. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 12. It supersedes the older number 9925712, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 47 diagrams, among them Control unit EGS, programmed (24_0956) and Control unit EGS, programmed (24_0958).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
