The number stamped on the part is 07129901647; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9901647. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 12. It supersedes the older numbers 0301236 and 9063124, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9904222.
It fits the E46 coupe (323i, 325i, 328i, 330i and M3, 2000–2006), with the M52, M54, M56 or S54 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 7 diagrams, among them Radiator (17_0941) and Front Door Control/Door Lock (41_0026).
