The number stamped on the part is 12147530855; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7530855. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH Basic control unit DME”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 7530854, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Basic control unit DME (12_1081) and Basic control unit DME (12_2024). It weighs about 347 g (0.8 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
