Basic control unit DME (exchange unit) — a genuine BMW part, number 12 14 1 430 941. The number stamped on the part is 12141430941; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1430941. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH Basic control unit DME”. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other Engine Electrical System parts. It supersedes the older number 1430940, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
