This is a genuine BMW countersunk screw, part number 07 11 9 906 254. The number stamped on the part is 07119906254; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9906254. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 11. It supersedes the older numbers 9901089 and 9905873, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E46 touring (323i and 325i, 2000–2005), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines.
BMW draws it on 27 diagrams, among them Single Components for Trunk Lid (41_1318) and Parking brake (34_0898). BMW's catalog calls for four of these at each place it is fitted. It also comes in BMW kit Attachment set, front and rear (7413897).
