This is a genuine BMW spacer, part number 51 18 8 240 761. The number stamped on the part is 51188240761; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8240761. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older numbers 0141090 and 0152702, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i, 325i and 328i, 1999–2006), with the M52 or M54 engines — and the European-market versions.
