Genuine BMW part 33 10 7 505 604: Shaft seal with lock ring. The number stamped on the part is 33107505604; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7505604. You will find it on our Suspension shelf, under Rear-axle-drive parts. It supersedes the older number 1214322, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i and 330i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 63 diagrams, among them Final drive, input/output, 4-wheel (33_1022) and Final drive, gasket set (33_1034). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 37 g (under 0.1 lb).
