Ignition coil — a genuine BMW part, number 12 13 7 551 260. The number stamped on the part is 12137551260; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7551260. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Ignition coil. It supersedes the older number 1712223, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 1712219 and 7841558.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 220 g (0.5 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
