Genuine BMW part 12 13 1 748 018: Ignition coil. The number stamped on the part is 12131748018; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1748018. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Ignition coil. It supersedes the older number 9067830, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7599219.

It fits every E36 body style (320i, 323i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M52, S50 or S52 engines — and the European-market versions. It also fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i, 325i and 328i, 1999–2006), with the M52 or M54 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 9 diagrams, among them Igtn. coil/sparkplug connector/sparkplug (12_0409) and Ignition coil/spark plug (12_0425). BMW's catalog calls for six of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 300 g (0.7 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
