What's Included

Genuine BMW part 07 12 9 904 870: Hex nut. The number stamped on the part is 07129904870; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9904870. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 12. It supersedes the older numbers 0407882, 0418354, 8508395 and 9900299, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i, 330i and M3, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or S54 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 82 diagrams, among them Manual gearbox GS5S31BZ (SMG) (23_0906) and Accelerator Pedal/Bowden Cable (35_0188). It also comes in BMW kits Retrofit kit, theft alarm (2183690) and Retrofit kit, theft alarm (2245615) and 2 more.

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
