This is a genuine BMW navigation CD computer (exchange unit), part number 65 90 6 908 620. The number stamped on the part is 65906908620; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6908620. BMW's catalog calls it “Exch Navigation CD Computer”. You will find it on our Instruments & Electronics shelf, under Navigation systems. It supersedes the older number 6903261, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 6908532.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on the Navigation CD computer (65_0672) diagram. It weighs about 1.5 kg (3.4 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
