Genuine BMW part 24 60 9 813 151: Control unit EGS programmed (exchange unit). The number stamped on the part is 24609813151; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9813151. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit EGS programmed”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 9812055, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9813566.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on the Electronic gearbox control (24_1242) diagram.

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
