Genuine BMW part 24 60 1 422 776: Control unit EGS programmed (exchange unit). The number stamped on the part is 24601422776; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1422776. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit EGS programmed”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 1422472, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (323i, 1998–1999), with the M52 engine.

BMW draws it on the Control unit EGS, programmed (24_0955) diagram. It weighs about 330 g (0.7 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
