This is a genuine BMW control unit EGS programmed (exchange unit), part number 24 60 1 422 462. The number stamped on the part is 24601422462; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1422462. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit EGS programmed”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 1421464, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
