Genuine BMW part 24 60 7 539 258: Control unit EGS programmed (exchange unit). The number stamped on the part is 24607539258; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7539258. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit EGS programmed”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 7533752, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7542032.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
