Control unit EGS programmed (exchange unit) — a genuine BMW part, number 24 60 7 531 730. The number stamped on the part is 24607531730; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7531730. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit EGS programmed”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 7530018, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7558406.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
