Control unit EGS programmed (exchange unit) — a genuine BMW part, number 24 60 7 529 012. The number stamped on the part is 24607529012; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7529012. BMW's catalog calls it “EXCH control unit EGS programmed”. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Other Automatic transmission parts. It supersedes the older number 7523482, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E46 body style (325i, 2001–2006), with the M54 engine — and the European-market versions.
