Zyklon pre separator — a genuine BMW part, number 13 71 1 705 459. The number stamped on the part is 13711705459; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1705459. You will find it on our Air Intake shelf, under Intake silencer. It supersedes the older number 1287624, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (320i, 1992–1995), with the M50 engine.

BMW draws it on 6 diagrams, among them Suction Silencer/Filter Cartridge (13_0332) and Suction Silencer/Filter Cartridge (13_0348). It weighs about 31 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
