This is a genuine BMW synthetic strip, part number 54 12 9 734 126. The number stamped on the part is 54129734126; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9734126. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Sliding Roof / Folding Top parts. It supersedes the older number 1808426, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on 10 diagrams, among them Front Door-Window Frame/Mounting Parts (41_1192) and Door weatherstrip, front (41_1218). It weighs about 5 g (under 0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
