Genuine BMW part 11 12 0 036 235: Set fixing element, exterior. The number stamped on the part is 11120036235; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0036235. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Cylinder head with cover. It supersedes the older number 0006842, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (330d, 1999–2005), with the M57 or M57N engines.
BMW draws it on 7 diagrams, among them Cylinder head cover (11_2316) and Cylinder head cover (11_3763). It weighs about 370 g (0.8 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
