Genuine BMW part 11 12 0 036 233: Set fixing element, exterior. The number stamped on the part is 11120036233; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 0036233. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Cylinder head with cover. It supersedes the older number 0006838, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E46 body style (318d, 318td, 320d and 320td, 1998–2004), with the M47 or M47N engines.
BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Cylinder head cover (11_2092) and Cylinder head cover (11_3312). It weighs about 298 g (0.7 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
