This is a genuine BMW oil pan, part number 24 11 7 533 835. The number stamped on the part is 24117533835; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7533835. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Gearbox housing, oil sump. It supersedes the older number 7512776, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E46 sedan, coupe, touring and compact (316i 1.9, 318d, 318i, 320d, 320td and 330d, 1997–2004), with the M43, M47, M47N, M57 or M57N engines.
