The number stamped on the part is 07129904858; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9904858. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 12. It supersedes the older number 9946301, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9904553.
It fits the E46 sedan, coupe and touring (316i, 316i 1.6, 316i 1.9 and 318i, 1997–2001), with the M43 engine.
BMW draws it on 56 diagrams, among them Emission Control-Air Pump (11_2193) and Retrofit, armrest front (03_1707). BMW's catalog calls for three of these at each place it is fitted.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
