Genuine BMW part 63 21 1 371 401: Hex nut. The number stamped on the part is 63211371401; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1371401. You will find it on our Lighting shelf, under Rear lights. It supersedes the older numbers 0141231, 0396800 and 1354752, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9128043.

It fits the E46 convertible and touring (323i, 325i, 330i and M3, 2000–2006), with the M52, M54, M56 or S54 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 121 diagrams, among them On Board Monitor Radio (65_0496) and navigation system fittings (65_0750).
