Genuine BMW part 25 11 7 503 525: Gearshift rod joint. The number stamped on the part is 25117503525; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7503525. You will find it on our Transmission shelf, under Gearshift. It supersedes the older number 1220198, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and compact (318i, 320i, 325i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M43, M50 or S50 engines — and the European-market versions.
