02 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→Fan belt — a genuine BMW part, number 11 72 1 270 468. The number stamped on the part is 11721270468; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1270468. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Secondary air system. It supersedes the older number 1263536, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on the Emission Control-Air Pump (11_2410) diagram. It weighs about 66 g (0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
