The number stamped on the part is 11721268693; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1268693. You will find it on our Engine shelf, under Secondary air system. It supersedes the older numbers 1260096 and 1469250, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Emission Control-Air Pump (11_0963) and Emission Control-Air Pump (11_0964). It weighs about 58 g (0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
