Cover, sports seat, Alcantara Online — a genuine BMW part, number 52 10 8 016 146. The number stamped on the part is 52108016146; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8016146. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Tail trim. BMW has since replaced it with 8014979.
It fits the E46 coupe (323i, 325i, 328i and 330i, 2000–2006), with the M52 or M54 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Individual series ZD PA339 (91_0230) diagram. BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 620 g (1.4 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
