Cover, sports seat, Alcantara Online — a genuine BMW part, number 52 10 8 014 979. The number stamped on the part is 52108014979; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8014979. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Tail trim. It supersedes the older numbers 8014875, 8016146 and 8016163, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits the E46 coupe (323i, 325i, 328i and 330i, 2000–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 3 diagrams, among them Individual series ZD PA339 (91_0230) and Individual series 2000, Flag Design PA336 (91_0231). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted.
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
