This is a genuine BMW clutch switch, part number 61 31 8 363 710. The number stamped on the part is 61318363710; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8363710. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Switch. It supersedes the older number 0141221, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe, convertible and compact (318i, 318ti, 323i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M42, M44, M52, S50 or S52 engines. It also fits the E46 sedan, coupe, convertible and touring (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i, 330i and M3, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or S54 engines.
