What's Included

This is a genuine BMW wire-strap, part number 52 20 8 129 296. The number stamped on the part is 52208129296; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8129296. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Seatbelts. It supersedes the older numbers 1829681, 1839303, 1849533, 1923438 and 2 others, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 229 diagrams, among them Seat, rear, cushion, & cover, basic seat (52_0531) and Seat, rear, cushion, & cover, basic seat (52_0533). It weighs about 40 g (under 0.1 lb). It also comes in BMW kits Assembly, seat left (2361194) and Assembly, seat right (2361195).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
