05 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→This is a genuine BMW wiper rubber, part number 61 61 1 372 578. The number stamped on the part is 61611372578; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1372578. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Windscreen wiper. It supersedes the older number 1372747, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E36 compact (318ti, 1995–1999), with the M42 or M44 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Single Components for Wiper Arm (61_0069) diagram. It weighs about 18 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
