Wiper motor — a genuine BMW part, number 61 63 8 353 433. The number stamped on the part is 61638353433; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 8353433. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Other General electrical system parts. It supersedes the older number 1393499, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, touring and compact (318i, 318ti, 320i, 325i, 328i and M3, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 and other engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Single Wiper Parts (61_0071) and Single Wiper Parts (61_0072). It weighs about 1.3 kg (2.8 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
