12 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→Welding nut — a genuine BMW part, number 07 12 9 904 896. The number stamped on the part is 07129904896; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9904896. You will find it on our Supplies & Hardware shelf, under Group 12. It supersedes the older number 9925908, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 23 diagrams, among them Glow Plug Unit/Temp.Sensor/Trigg.Contact (12_0401) and Intake sound system (13_0887).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
