Genuine BMW part 51 17 7 003 230: Washer. The number stamped on the part is 51177003230; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7003230. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Bumper, rear.
It fits the E46 convertible (323i, 325i, 330i and M3, 2000–2006), with the M52, M54 or S54 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 4 diagrams, among them Vacuum pump for brake servo unit (34_1721) and Acceleration/accelerator pedal module (35_0284). BMW's catalog calls for six of these at each place it is fitted. It also comes in BMW kit Set mounting parts additional headlight (8543025).
