This is a genuine BMW walk-nappa handbrake lever cover, part number 34 41 2 266 911. The number stamped on the part is 34412266911; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2266911. You will find it on our Brakes shelf, under Parking brake. It supersedes the older numbers 8230952, 8237517 and 9071183, so a part carrying any of them is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 2227560.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on the Individual handbrake lever and cover (91_0098) diagram. It weighs about 68 g (0.1 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
