This is a genuine BMW valve caps, part number 36 12 1 120 779. The number stamped on the part is 36121120779; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1120779. You will find it on our Wheels & Tires shelf, under Other Wheels parts. It supersedes the older number 0141558, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.

BMW draws it on 1,059 diagrams, among them Steel Rim Styl.12 (36_0092) and M Contour (styl.23) (36_0195).
