Upper part of cable guide — a genuine BMW part, number 51 16 7 000 469. The number stamped on the part is 51167000469; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 7000469. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Mirrors, trims, storage compartments. It supersedes the older numbers 7000470, 7000471, 9409074 and 9409075, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Centre console cubbies (51_3241) and Storing partit., mounting parts/teleph (51_4476). It weighs about 20 g (under 0.1 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
