Genuine BMW part 41 31 2 993 048: Upper apron. The number stamped on the part is 41312993048; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2993048. You will find it on our Exterior Body shelf, under Other Bodywork parts. It supersedes the older number 2990373, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 7349171.

BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.

BMW draws it on the Roof (41_1957) diagram. It weighs about 1.2 kg (2.6 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
