Underfloor coating center — a genuine BMW part, number 51 71 2 491 567. The number stamped on the part is 51712491567; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 2491567. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older number 2268793, so a part carrying that number is the same part.

It fits the E36 sedan, coupe and convertible (M3, 1995–1999), with the S50 engine.

BMW draws it on 2 diagrams, among them Heat insulation and air duct (51_2047) and Air duct (51_2112). It weighs about 1.6 kg (3.5 lb).

We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
