The number stamped on the part is 16116756583; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6756583. You will find it on our Fuel System shelf, under Fuel tank with filler pipe. It supersedes the older numbers 1184016 and 6756041, so a part carrying any of them is the same part.
It fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i and 325i, 1999–2006), with the M52 or M54 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Fuel Tank/Attaching Parts (16_0372) diagram. BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 320 g (0.7 lb).
