Genuine BMW part 32 30 6 761 571: Swivel joint with universal joint. The number stamped on the part is 32306761571; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 6761571. You will find it on our Steering shelf, under Steering column. It supersedes the older number 1094705, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits every E46 body style (320i, 323i, 325i, 328i, 330i and M3, 1999–2006), with the M52, M54 or S54 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on the Steer.Col.-Lower Joint Assy (32_0942) diagram. It weighs about 694 g (1.5 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
