03 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→Support f roller blind, backrest — a genuine BMW part, number 51 47 9 149 454. The number stamped on the part is 51479149454; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9149454. You will find it on our Interior Body shelf, under Other Body equipment parts. It supersedes the older number 8233829, so a part carrying that number is the same part.
It fits the E46 touring (323i and 325i, 2000–2005), with the M52, M54 or M56 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 10 diagrams, among them Retrofit: luggage compartment net (03_0342) and Roller screen/load area roller net (51_3951). BMW's catalog calls for two of these at each place it is fitted. It weighs about 290 g (0.6 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
