Genuine BMW Part
Photos coming soon
This is a genuine BMW starter, part number 12 41 1 244 670. The number stamped on the part is 12411244670; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 1244670. You will find it on our Electrical shelf, under Starter motor with mounting. It supersedes the older number 1244553, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 9062425.
BMW's catalog records no E36 or E46 it is fitted to; it belongs to other BMW models.
It weighs about 2.7 kg (6.0 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
