01 View BMW DiagramSee this part on the official exploded view→Standard ski holder — a genuine BMW part, number 82 72 9 404 370. The number stamped on the part is 82729404370; BMW's catalog files it under the short number 9404370. You will find it on our Merchandise & Accessories shelf, under Other Universal Accessories parts. It supersedes the older number 9413949, so a part carrying that number is the same part. BMW has since replaced it with 0406587.
It fits every E36 body style (318i, 318ti, 320i, 323i and 325i, 1992–1999), with the M40, M42, M43, M44, M50 or M52 engines — and the European-market versions.
BMW draws it on 9 diagrams, among them Ski Holder (03_3235) and Ski Holder (03_3236). It weighs about 2.1 kg (4.6 lb).
We have not had one on the shelf yet. Request it and we will tell you when one comes off a car.
